This dynamic role combines customer service, sales, facility clean-up/upkeep, and administrative support. Self-storage experience is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn. Two flexible work schedules are provided to meet your work needs. Compensation $19-$21 per hour, depending on skillset and experience. Opportunities for performance-based growth. Tuesday-Saturday Part-time:
Wednesday-Saturday Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service to prospective and current customers. Assist customers in selecting the right storage unit based on their needs and budget. Conduct facility tours and explain facility features, benefits, and available services. Convert customer inquiries and leads into rentals. Process rental agreements and related paperwork. Balance cash and deposits at the beginning and end of each day. Assist with filing, documentation, and other administrative tasks. Perform daily inspections of the property and report maintenance concerns to managers when necessary. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility, including driveways, hallways, landscaping, office areas, doors, and walls. Prepare storage units for new rentals by cleaning walls, doors, floors, and bug spray. Safely use cleaning equipment, maintenance tools, and cleaning products according to training and company guidelines. Assist managers with facility improvement projects and general property upkeep. Follow daily, weekly, and monthly operational procedures. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, and enjoys a combination of customer interaction and hands-on work. Customer service experience preferred. Sales experience is a plus but not required. Strong communication and organizational skills. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to pass a background check. Previous self-storage, retail, hospitality, or property management experience is a plus, but not required. We provide training to help you succeed in this role. Physical Requirements Candidates must be able to: Stand, walk, kneel, crouch, sweep, and mop for extended periods. Lift and carry up to 20 pounds as needed. Perform facility inspections and maintenance-related tasks. Split the workday between office duties and outdoor property responsibilities, including customer service, facility inspections, cleaning, and property upkeep.
