Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Property Manager and play a vital role in managing and supporting a Class A office portfolio. This is a full-time, in-person position that includes GREAT benefits (Health, dental, vision plans, paid vacation, sick time, weekends and certain major holidays off). You will be instrumental in handling lease management, administrative tasks, and property maintenance coordination, all while fostering positive relationships and driving operational excellence. Must be a strong support system to the Property Manager by executing tasks with efficiency, professionalism, and possess the following skills ( job duties to include, but not limited to ):
Responsibilities:
Assist in managing lease agreements, renewals, and rent collections to maximize occupancy and revenue. Support property inspections, maintenance scheduling, and vendor coordination to ensure properties are well-maintained and compliant with regulations. Handle legal administrative tasks related to tenant agreements, eviction notices, and contract documentation with transparency and accuracy. Maintain detailed records of property transactions, tenant communications, and service requests using property management software such as AppFolio. Respond promptly to tenant inquiries via phone or email, providing exceptional customer service and conflict resolution when necessary.
  • Send out monthly statements
  • Process tenant move-ins and move-outs
  • Maintain tenant contact information
  • Deposit checks/accounts receivables and maintain deposit log
  • Process invoices/accounts payables
  • Collect certificates of insurance from tenants and vendors
  • Coordinate Vendor schedules
  • Manage janitorial supply inventory and orders
  • Unlock doors as needed for tenants and vendors
  • Maintain marketing postings and assist in creating marketing material
Qualifications:
  • Driver's license and auto insurance is required
  • Interest/ability to acquire a California real estate license
  • At least 1+ year experience of Assistant Property Manager level preferred Office experience is a plus Ability to multi-task Proven experience with property management systems like AppFolio for data entry and record keeping.
Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities. Familiarity with legal administrative processes related to contracts, leases, and eviction procedures. Ability to coordinate property maintenance activities using facilities management tools such as AppFolio. Office experience including filing, data entry, document management, and general administrative support.
