Job Description

Join the JP Allen Apartments and assist in the day to day property operations, overseeing and managing all aspects of the apartment facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Practice OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and comply with a l company safety policies and procedures Assists with general clerical functions for the property Ensure resident files and property records are accurately maintained Assists with rent and late fee collection, deposits, and accounting Assists with the leasing process including, advertising, showing units, responding to prospective tenant inquiries, and coordinating move-ins and move-outs Cooperate and assist as needed with security deposit returns as requested by the Maintenance department and Accounting department Assist the Property Manager with advertising online and ensure vacancy signs are posted on site Responds to customer service requests and work orders and ensures timely and satisfactory completion Coordinate, document, monitor and communicate progress on unit turnovers with management and maintenance Collaborate with Accounting department on al financial and App folio matters Conduct and document unit and property inspections Meet with various vendors and coordinate property and unit maintenance and pest control Follow and enforce al fair housing and local landlord and tenant laws and regulations Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Property Management, Real Estate or in a related field Two (2) years experience managing multifamily residential apartments Must have a valid driver's license Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have proficient computer skills and the ability to maneuver a variety of systems and programs May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
Fluent in other languages Experience working with App folio
Property Management System Physical Requirements:
• Ability to carry, push, move and lift large, bulky and/or heavy objects up to 25 pounds Ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, walking, repetitive bending, and other physical activities around the facilities Consistent hand and wrist movements using keyboards to generate correspondence, reports, etc.
