We pride ourselves on providing professional, responsive, and detail-oriented service to property owners and residents while maintaining high standards for operations, communication, leasing, and property care. We are seeking an experienced Property Supervisor to join our team and help manage and lease our growing property portfolio. Position Overview The Property Supervisor will oversee day-to-day property management operations for a diverse portfolio of residential properties. This role requires someone who can confidently manage multiple moving parts, communicate professionally with owners, tenants, vendors, and team members, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, flexible, highly organized, and able to adapt quickly as priorities shift. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and works well as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Oversee daily operations for residential properties Communicate professionally with property owners, tenants, vendors, and internal team members Assist with leasing, including listing coordination, showings, follow-up, applicant communication, and move-in processes Coordinate and follow up on maintenance requests, repairs, vendor scheduling, and property-related issues Conduct property inspections, including move-in, move-out, annual, city, insurance, and owner-requested inspections Ensure properties are maintained in accordance with company standards, lease requirements, and applicable housing regulations Monitor timelines, deadlines, notices, lease expirations, renewals, rent increases, and tenant communications Assist with tenant relations, lease enforcement, and issue resolution in a professional and fair manner Work closely with the LA Lux team to ensure strong follow-through on open tasks and property needs Maintain organized records, notes, photos, and communication within company systems Support leasing efforts to reduce vacancy time and maintain a positive resident experience Handle multiple priorities at once without becoming overwhelmed
Qualifications Required:
Minimum 5 years of property management experience Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple properties, tasks, deadlines, and communications at the same time Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional, calm, and solution-oriented approach Strong follow-up and follow-through Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts Flexible, adaptable, and willing to jump in where needed Team player with a positive attitude Reliable transportation and ability to travel to properties as needed
Preferred:
Active California real estate license Spanish-speaking or bilingual in English/Spanish Experience with leasing, inspections, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations Familiarity with property management software (Buildium, Property Meld, Lead Simple, Show Mojo) Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, and confident managing a busy property portfolio. The right candidate does not get overwhelmed easily, communicates clearly, and understands the importance of urgency, professionalism, and follow-through in property management. This person should be comfortable working independently while also being highly collaborative with the rest of the team. Flexibility is important, as no two days in property management are exactly the same. Compensation This is a 1099 independent contractor position paying $6,000 per month .
