Manage LCF's grantmaking, scholarships, and community programs. Organization Overview The Lodi Community Foundation (LCF) is a 501(c)(3) public grantmaking organization that stewards approximately $33 million in charitable assets and supports donors and legacy funds that address the most pressing needs in the Greater Lodi area. LCF's mission is to advocate and facilitate charitable giving to create lasting legacies that build a strong Lodi community. The Foundation connects generous donors with meaningful causes, strengthens local nonprofits, and works to ensure the community's greatest needs are met for generations to come. The Opportunity This is a new full-time position responsible for managing LCF's grantmaking, scholarships, and community programs. The role works closely with the CEO and Finance Manager to ensure effective program delivery while supporting and promoting the work of local nonprofits and engaging donors and community partners. This position plays a key role in advancing LCF's impact by coordinating grant cycles, supporting program development, and serving as a trusted resource for nonprofit and community stakeholders.Key Duties and Responsibilities Grantmaking and Program Management:
Manage grantmaking and scholarship programs from application through distribution and reporting Coordinate grant cycles, including application review, committee support, and award processes Maintain accurate records in grant and scholarship software and database systems Support additional LCF programs that strengthen nonprofits and respond to community needs Track and report on program outcomes and community impact Ensure alignment with Foundation policies andNational Standards Nonprofit and Community Engagement:
Serve as a primary point of contact for nonprofit partners, applicants, and fundholders Provide guidance and technical assistance to nonprofits regarding funding opportunities Support development and implementation of programs that strengthen nonprofits Maintain relationships with a broad cross section of community stakeholders Represent LCF at nonprofit and community events, meetings, and conveningsDonor and Stakeholder Support:
Support donor advisors and grantmaking activities Connect donors to community funding opportunities where appropriate Assist in strengthening relationships between donors and nonprofit partnersOperations and Coordination:
Provide administrative and logistical support for committees and meetings Respond to inquiries from nonprofits and community partners Liaise with contractors, vendors, and partners Collaborate with the communications team to promote programs, nonprofit work, and impact Provide support for LCF hosted events and community gatherings as neededGeneral Responsibilities:
Participate in professional development and community foundation learning opportunities Adhere to Foundation policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 5 to 7 years of experience in nonprofit, philanthropy, or program management preferred Strong understanding of nonprofit organizations and the role of philanthropy Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), cloud-based systems, and CRM tools Experience working with boards, committees, donors, or volunteers preferred Valid driver's license Availability to occasionally attend community events during evenings and weekends Key Attributes Passion for community impact and strengthening local nonprofits Relationship builder with strong communication and listening skills Collaborative, adaptable, and solutions oriented Curious and committed to continuous learning Familiarity with the Lodi community Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally Ability to attend offsite meetings and eventsJob Type:
Full-time Pay:
