Job Description
Position Summary The Relief Manager for Diede Property Management oversees the management of various facilities, while providing coverage and customer service as the Facility Manager. Essential Functions Implement and enforce any procedures set forth by Diede Property Management, or instructions given by the General Manager or Supervisor. Operates the self-storage facility in a manner that maximizes occupancy and provides the best economic returns by: Renting available spaces to qualified customers Maintain vacant spaces in a clean, rentable condition Collecting deposits, rent, and assessing fees in a timely manner Selling accessories and merchandise or any services available at each location. Perform daily visual inspections of the facility Respond to any security breach or potential security problems such as: Unsecured locks, gates, fencing and spaces Tampering Suspicious activity Fire Hazards Any toxic or unidentified substances Become familiar with emergency procedures Handle all customer inquiries or issues in a timely, courteous manner. Inventory the contents of spaces as needed Assist with the lien process for any delinquent accounts Cash handling and daily deposits Maintain communication with the office to handle any outstanding bills, issues, etc. Perform minor repairs at the facility as needed and appropriate Participate in any training programs or seminars the company issues The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those listed above. Knowledge & Skills Proficient in using a computer and the below listed programs: Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) QuickBooks or similar accounting software Cash handling and customer service experience Bookkeeping experience a plus Must be responsible and self-managed Must have excellent follow-up and tracking skills Must be hands-on, detail oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced, rapid growth, small company environment. Experience in property management, hospitality or manufacturing Professional presentation and conduct Ability to multi-task under time constraints and working effectively as a team player in a professional office environment. Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.

$18.00 - $20.00 per hourShift:
