Los Angeles, California Pay Range:
$21.00 to $25.00 Overview We are seeking an organized and customer focused Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations at a residential community in the Los Angeles area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with residents, supporting financial performance, and helping lead an onsite team. It is also a strong pathway to becoming a future Community Manager. Key Responsibilities Support rent collection, delinquency management, and basic financial reporting Assist with budget preparation and expense control Support leasing activities to help achieve occupancy goals Manage lease renewals and ensure accurate documentation Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive resident relations Enforce community policies and support conflict resolution Conduct regular property inspections and monitor curb appeal Coordinate with the maintenance team and manage work orders Communicate with vendors and support operational needs Assist the Community Manager in supervising and motivating the onsite team Qualifications One to three years of experience in property management or a similar role Strong knowledge of fair housing laws Experience with rent collection and basic financial reporting Valid driver's license and reliable transportation High school diploma or GED Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently Preferred Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or similar certification Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance with dependent coverage Life insurance and disability insurance 401K with employer matching Ten vacation days per year to start Six paid sick days Paid holidays Rent discounts for eligible employees
