The schedule is 4-6 hours per day, 5-6 days per week . This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, organized, and comfortable working with tenants, vendors, and management. Students looking for part-time work are encouraged to apply.
Job Overview Duties Assist with property leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and explaining lease terms to prospective tenants Support property management operations by handling tenant inquiries, rent collections, and lease renewals Maintain accurate data entry and filing of tenant records, contracts, and legal documentation using Yardi or OneSite property management software Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 guidelines while providing exceptional customer service Coordinate property maintenance requests and communicate with facilities management teams to address issues promptly Manage conflict resolution between tenants or staff with professionalism and tact Conduct regular property inspections to uphold safety standards and facilitate lease-ups or move-outs Requirements Previous experience with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8, or other affordable housing programs is highly desirable Proficiency in Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software; familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and legal administrative processes Experience in real estate administrative tasks such as contracts, data entry, filing, and office procedures Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities Ability to negotiate lease terms and upsell additional services or amenities effectively Office experience combined with strong organizational skills for managing multiple priorities simultaneously Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices is advantageous This role offers an exciting chance to develop your skills in property management while supporting vibrant communities.
