Property Management Weekend Desk Clerk - Hiring for Multiple Locations

•Hiring for multiple locations across Oakland, CA•About this Position We are seeking reliable and compassionate Front Desk Clerks to support communities within the affordable housing sector in Oakland. This role plays a vital part in creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for residents, many of whom are transitioning from homelessness or housing insecurity. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, empathetic, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service while helping connect residents with resources that promote stability and dignity. Job Responsibilities Greet residents, visitors, and guests while maintaining a professional and compassionate front desk presence. Manage building access to ensure resident safety and security. Answer and route calls on a multi-line phone system; take messages and transfer as needed. Maintain guest logs, transfer records between shifts, and document incidents. Respond appropriately to emergencies such as medical issues, disturbances, or security concerns. Provide peer-to-peer support by connecting residents to available community resources. Job Skills/Requirements Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Positive, professional, and empathetic demeanor with residents, guests, and staff. Reliable and detail-oriented, with comfort enforcing building policies. Experience answering phones; prior experience in customer service, affordable housing, hospitality, or security preferred. Additional Information Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays with the following shift times available:

Day:

7:00 AM•3:00 PM and 8:00 AM•4:00

PM Swing:

3:00PM•11:00 PM and 4:00 PM•12:00

AM Grave:

11:00PM•7:00 AM AND 12:00 AM to 8:00

AM Pay Range Pay:
