Job Description

Aperto Property Management, Inc. is a full-service, fee-based apartment management company for conventional and affordable multi-housing communities. We pride ourselves in providing unmatched service. Aperto Property Management, Inc. currently has an exciting opportunity! We are seeking a Assistant Manager to join our team in Richmond, CA. Our Assistant Managers complete initial and annual re-certifications for all applicants and residents in accordance with Tax Credit guidelines. The property is Tax Credit, therefore Tax Credit background is required. Our residents live where we work so excellent customer service is key!
Responsibilities:
Complete initial and annual re-certifications for all applicants and residents in accordance with Tax Credit guidelines. Interact with current and prospective residents. Fosters a positive, active and collaborative relationship with residents, communities and associated agencies. Complete resident move-ins and move-outs in compliance with all company procedures. Conduct unit inspections, maintain the safety and security of the apartment community at all times. Complete daily reports. All other duties assigned by Supervisor.
Qualifications:
Tax Credit program experience is required. Assistant Manager experience preferred; however, we will train a team member with a great attitude and customer service skills. Yardi experience is a plus Ability to handle pressure due to complexity and time sensitivity. Attention to details with strong verbal and written communication skills. Works patiently, professionally and cooperatively with residents. Preserves and respects resident and applicant confidentiality. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects to meet established deadlines. Proficient in reading and writing English.
