Skills Strong knowledge of HOA/Community Association management principles, CC&Rs, bylaws, and applicable state Davis-Stirling Act (or relevant state HOA law). Proficiency in property management software or similar HOA management platforms. Strong administrative skills including contract management, record keeping, and report preparation. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with professional phone and email etiquette. Proven ability to manage multiple communities and priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills when handling homeowner and vendor issues. Experience coordinating maintenance and facilities management for residential common areas. Effective negotiation skills for vendor contracts and service agreements. Ability to work collaboratively with Boards of Directors and provide sound guidance on operational and compliance matters. We are a local company in Roseville, seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HOA Portfolio Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of homeowner association communities. In this key role, you will manage day-to-day association operations, ensure compliance with governing documents and state regulations, and build strong relationships with board members, vendors, and homeowners. Your proactive approach will help maintain the value, appearance, and integrity of each community while delivering exceptional service. Pay isDOE Duties:
Manage daily operations across multiple HOA communities, ensuring compliance with CC&Rs, bylaws, and applicable state and local regulations. Serve as the primary liaison between the Board of Directors, homeowners, and vendors. Coordinate maintenance of common areas, including scheduling repairs, overseeing vendors, and ensuring work is completed to standard and within budget. Prepare and distribute board packets, meeting agendas, and minutes as required; attend evening board meetings and annual meetings as directed (usually held via Zoom). Utilize property management software to maintain accurate records, process work orders, track violations, and generate reports. Handle administrative tasks related to contracts, vendor agreements, compliance issues, and enforcement actions. Respond to homeowner inquiries in a timely and professional manner via phone, email, or in person, utilizing strong conflict resolution and customer service skills. Conduct regular community inspections to monitor property conditions, identify maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with governing documents. Oversee vendor performance and negotiate service contracts to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with association standards.
