Job Description

Primarily responsible for the overall goals of the Resident Services program across the PHI portfolio of affordable housing sites in California and for articulating those goals to the Resident Services team for implementation as well as directly assisting the Assistant Director of Resident Services with daily duties. Maintain current information and understanding of relevant regulatory requirements, budgets and service level agreements in order to incorporate these into the Resident Services Program goals. develop Resident Service staff. Acts as liaison with government agencies, community-based organizations and the public in order to establish and maintain relationships and partnerships that will enhance the delivery and quality of resident service programs. Develops and implements development plans to assist the resident services team in the performance of their duties on-site and in achieving the Resident Service Program goals.

Monitor program quality & consistency. Supporting the Resident Service Department Conduct periodic site-based needs assessments, must be willing to travel; Maintain staffing levels at all sites in order to fulfill regulatory requirements and partnership objectives; Develop site/region specific programs and resident recruitment strategies that meet the overall Resident Services Program goals, regulatory requirements and budgetary constraints; Identify community organizations or collaborative partners to further the resident services program; Establish and maintain working relationships with property management team, partner service organizations, community resources, and relevant government agencies; Monitor program quality and consistency; share observations with the Director of Resident Services; Maintain Resident Service Plan reporting for regulatory agencies as needed. The ideal candidate for this position will: Carry a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business management, or human resources Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, effective written and verbal communication The candidate must be available to travel on a monthly basis Must clear a national criminal background check, including fingerprint scan, and have a clean DMV record Five years of acceptable management work history as well as dealing with Human Resources related issues is a strong requirement The ideal candidate for this position has some college education or a bachelor's degree - preferably in early childhood education, human resources, management, social work, or other human services field; has a clean DMV record, is capable of clearing a national criminal background check, including fingerprint scans, and has at least five years of acceptable work history. Reports to the Assistant Director of Resident Services and participates as member of the senior management team in the development and implementation of organization-wide policies and programs that will contribute to its overall success.
