Job Description

Are you a confident, experienced leader who knows how to run a property like a well-oiled machine and keep residents happy? We're looking for a results-driven Assistant Property Manager , with LIHTC experience, to take charge of a thriving multi-family apartment community . In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, from team supervision and leasing strategy to resident relations, budgeting, and day-to-day operations. If you're highly organized, people-oriented, and ready to lead with professionalism and purpose, this is the opportunity for you.

Monday-Friday, 8AM-5

What You'll Be Doing:
Oversee all operations of a multi-family apartment community, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently LIHTC applications Lead and support on-site staff, including leasing agents and maintenance team Develop and execute leasing and marketing strategies to maintain high occupancy Foster positive relationships with residents and handle escalated concerns with care and professionalism Manage rent collection, monitor delinquencies, and enforce lease policies Ensure compliance with all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal Utilize property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar) to manage operations and reporting
What We're Looking For:
1-2 years of experience of leasing experience in a multi-family environment LIHTC experience r equired Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication, organization, and customer service abilities Proven success in managing budgets, increasing occupancy, and improving resident satisfaction Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, AppFolio, RealPage, etc.) Solid understanding of leasing practices, maintenance operations, and Fair Housing laws High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications (CAM, CAPS, etc.) are a plus Ready to Take the Lead? NSM Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
