ASSISTANT COMMUNITY MANAGER
Lead With Accountability. Support Operations. Build Community. GL Partners Management (GLPM), the management affiliate of GL Capital Partners, is a vertically integrated multifamily investment platform operating across the Western United States. We combine institutional investment standards with a thoughtful, hands-on management philosophy rooted in people, accountability, and long-term performance. We are seeking an experienced Assistant Community Manager to join the team at an upcoming multifamily community in the Cortez Hill neighborhood of San Diego. At GLPM, Assistant Community Managers play a critical role in supporting operational performance, resident experience, and onsite leadership. You will:
Support the financial performance of the community through rent collections, delinquency management, reporting, and operational organization Assist with leasing, renewals, resident communication, and resident retention initiatives Help oversee onsite operations to ensure efficiency, responsiveness, and professionalism Maintain accurate records, lease documentation, and reporting within property management systems Support team communication, accountability, and day-to-day operational coordination Deliver a high level of resident service rooted in hospitality and problem-solving Partner with maintenance and onsite teams to ensure a seamless resident experience What Success Looks Like Strong operational organization and timely reporting Positive resident relationships and responsive communication Supportive partnership with onsite leadership and team members Accurate financial and administrative management Efficient handling of resident concerns and operational follow-through A community environment where residents feel valued and supported What You Bring 2+ years of multifamily property management experience preferred Experience with rent collections, resident relations, and leasing operations Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience with Entrata or comparable property management software preferred A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset grounded in professionalism and accountability Compensation & Benefits $64,000-$67,000 base salary Performance-based bonus opportunity 401(k) with company match Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation and holidays Growth opportunities within a scaling multifamily platform Rooted in People.
