  • HUD Project-Based Section 8 | San Francisco, CA Are you a seasoned Property Manager with deep expertise in HUD Project-Based Section 8 looking to make an impact in one of the most dynamic markets in the country?
We're seeking a driven, detail-oriented leader to oversee a fully subsidized affordable housing community in San Francisco. This is an opportunity to join a mission-driven organization committed to providing quality housing while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and resident satisfaction. What You'll Do Oversee daily operations of a fully subsidized HUD Project-Based Section 8 community Ensure strict compliance with HUD regulations, policies, and reporting requirements Manage and guide on-site staff, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment Lead recertifications, audits, MORs, and file reviews with accuracy and confidence Maintain strong occupancy levels and oversee leasing within regulatory guidelines Build positive relationships with residents, vendors, and local housing authorities Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and drive financial performance Handle escalated resident concerns with professionalism and care
What We're Looking For Required:
Proven experience managing HUD Project-Based Section 8 properties Strong knowledge of HUD compliance, EIV, TRACS, and recertification processes Experience with affordable housing regulations and reporting standards Active involvement or familiarity with local housing organizations/associations is a plus Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-driven environment Why This Role?
