Job Description

Company Overview Mental Wellness Center (MWC) is a leading organization dedicated to enhancing the mental well-being of individuals in our community. Our long-standing values of hope, inclusivity, collaboration, and connection to care drive our mission to advance mental wellness in Santa Barbara by providing youth programming, early intervention, safe and affordable housing, education, and resources for mental health challenges. The Program Manager oversees daily operations, clinical quality, and regulatory compliance for Mental Wellness Center's Adult Residential Facilities. This role ensures safe, recovery‑oriented, person‑centered care for adults living with mental illness while leading staff, supporting residents, and maintaining compliance with Community Care Licensing (CCL) standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily residential operations and ensure compliance with CCL regulations and agency policies. Maintain a therapeutic, recovery‑focused environment for residents. Provide clinical guidance and crisis support; ensure services follow trauma‑informed and recovery‑oriented practices. Lead program development, monitor outcomes, and support quality improvement efforts. Supervise and mentor residential staff; coordinate schedules, meetings, and performance evaluations. Provide direct support during crises, low staffing, or resident needs; complete required CCL documentation. Prepare reports, maintain accurate records, and support grant and compliance requirements. Participate in an on‑call rotation for urgent needs. Qualifications MA/MS in behavioral health or related field; clinical licensure or licensure‑track required. Minimum 2 years of experience working with adults with mental illness in residential, inpatient, or outpatient settings. Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of CCL regulations for Adult Residential Facilities. Ability to respond to crises and participate in on‑call rotation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems. CPR, First Aid, and CPI certification (or obtained within 60 days). Valid driver's license and ability to transport residents. ARF Administrator Certification preferred (or ability to obtain within 9 months). Pay:
$74,880.00 - $88,000.00 per year
