Job Description
Job Summary:
The Community Living Services Manager is responsible for providing structure and supervision to CLS Instructors- Ensure that services provided to Individuals served meet or exceed their expectations and follow program design and works in partnership with Vocational Services Coordinators.
Schedule:
Must be flexible and available on the weekends; 30 plus hours per week, scheduled at least one weekend day (Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs)Essential Duties Include:
Guarantee services compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations. Ensure Individuals rights are met and are of foremost importance. Ensure compliance with company programs, practices, and policies specific to program and client management. All employees are mandated reporters as such you are required to report all suspected incidents of abuse, neglect, and sexual assault in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure that Individuals are oriented and trained specific to the companies Safety Program including weekly safety meetings, drills, and maintain records. Understand and submit all paperwork as required by deadline including transportation paperwork, attendance, job coach notes, objective sheets, incident/accident reports, time studies and case management documentation. Execute proper allocation of agency resources (product, space, time, people, etc.). Maintain a courteous, positive, enthusiastic, well-mannered, and professional demeanor while working with Individuals served and the community. Provide supervision and scheduling of Community Living Instructors Working knowledge of service profitability. Ensure on-going positive communication with Individuals served, families, care-providers, Funding Agencies, schools, staff, and the community. Provide direction to Community Living Instructors for delivery of Community Living Services. Ascertain that each Individual served receives services in accordance with criteria from funding sources and are provided all options offered in the service design. Experience:
A high school education or equivalent is required Experience working in a service profession or volunteer work with children or adults with disabilities is desired.Qualifying Specifications:
Must have own vehicle, maintain a current California drivers license and provide on-going proof of current state required auto insurance. Must have an acceptable driving record as determined by criteria established by the Agencys insurance carrier. Must clear fingerprints through the California Department of Justice and FBI. The ability to successfully complete First Aid / CPR training is mandatory.Skills and Abilities Preferred:
Ability to train, motivate and challenge clients while establishing and maintaining a friendly relationship. Have the ability to maintain professionalism with clients, staff and willingness to work cooperatively in a team. We desire excellent spelling and grammar skills. Must have basic computer/technology skills and knowledge.Physical Requirements:
Essential functions of this position require that employees regularly sit, stand, bend, twist and walk. Employees may occasionally be required to lift or move up to 50 lbs.Offered compensation:
