In this vital role, you will oversee the management of affordable housing programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations such as LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Fair Housing laws, and Section 8 guidelines. You will Supervise Maintenane Staff and Admin Staff in day to day operations of the Agency. Your leadership will empower your team to deliver exceptional service to residents while maintaining strong relationships with landlords, community partners, and stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on individuals and families seeking stable housing solutions through a proactive, energetic approach. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of housing programs, including tenant screening, lease management, and property inspections using property management software Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including LIHTC, Fair Housing laws, Landlord-tenant law, and Section 8 policies. Provide training and support to staff Manage landlord relationships through effective negotiation to secure affordable housing options and resolve disputes promptly. Oversee case management efforts for residents facing crises by implementing crisis management strategies and providing crisis intervention when necessary. Monitor program performance metrics; prepare reports; identify areas for improvement; implement corrective actions to enhance service delivery. Collaborate with community agencies to facilitate access to supportive services or work resources that promote resident stability. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or housing programs with a strong understanding of LIHTC, Section 8, Fair Housing regulations, and landlord-tenant law. Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and crisis intervention techniques. Supervisory Skills Familiarity with property management software such as PHA-Web is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and build collaborative relationships with landlords and community partners. Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently while maintaining focus on resident well-being. A background in Property Management is preferred; relevant management experience to Supervise Admin and Maintenance Staff in day to day operations.
