Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic gentleman to be House Manager/Peer Coach/QBHA to join our team in fostering a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for individuals in our care. This multifaceted role combines leadership, peer support, and behavioral health expertise to ensure residents receive comprehensive assistance while promoting stability, growth, and well-being. The ideal candidate will be passionate about community care, possess strong supervisory skills, and have a deep commitment to enhancing the lives of those they serve. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a dynamic setting. This position is exclusively providing support to Colorado Division of Youth services (DYS) . This is an in live position based on a contractual agreement Supervise daily operations within the residential setting, ensuring safety, security, and adherence to program policies. Provide peer coaching and mentorship to residents, encouraging positive behavioral health and social skills development. Manage case documentation through accurate data entry, filing, and data collection to support ongoing treatment and compliance requirements. Respond promptly to crises or behavioral incidents with effective crisis intervention strategies and conflict management techniques. Support residents when applicable, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes stability and growth. Maintain security protocols including monitoring surveillance systems, conducting regular safety checks, and managing access control. Collaborate with social workers, addiction counselors, healthcare providers, and community resources to coordinate comprehensive care. Facilitate communication among team members, residents, families, and external agencies to ensure clarity and continuity of care. Experience Supervising experience in residential or community-based settings preferred; demonstrated leadership in managing teams or programs. Strong background in crisis intervention, conflict management, behavioral health, or social work required. Experience with addiction counseling or medication administration is highly desirable. Knowledge of child care practices and home & community care experience is a plus. Proficiency in data entry, filing systems, data collection methods, and record keeping essential for compliance purposes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations and team members. First aid certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire preferred; ability to respond calmly during emergencies.
