Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the operations of multiple residential communities. Previous property management experience is required, and experience in affordable housing is strongly preferred. This full-time position involves leasing oversight, maintenance coordination, financial administration, compliance management, and tenant relations. The Property Manager reports directly to the Director of Property Management and works closely with other team members to ensure efficient operations and a professional living experience for all residents. Key Responsibilities Oversee leasing activities, including marketing, managing waitlists, processing applications, coordinating move-ins and renewals, and maintaining occupancy goals Coordinate maintenance work orders, vendor scheduling, and property inspections to ensure timely and high-quality service Manage day-to-day financial tasks such as processing invoices, tracking rent payments, monitoring delinquencies, and preparing reports Ensure compliance with internal policies and housing regulations, including Fair Housing, ADA, LIHTC, HUD, and FCRA requirements Respond to tenant inquiries, resolve resident concerns, issue notices, and foster a professional and responsive community environment Maintain organized resident and property records while supporting daily administrative and operational functions across multiple properties Collaborate with ownership, compliance staff, and vendors to support overall property performance and regulatory compliance
QualificationsRequired:
Previous property management experience Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment Experience with financial and administrative responsibilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Excel, Outlook, and Word Reliable transportation
Preferred:
Experience in affordable housing and familiarity with LIHTC and HUD programs Knowledge of property management software such as Yardi, AppFolio, or RealPage COS, TCS, EIV, or other affordable housing certifications are a plus Work Environment Combination of office and field-based work Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required Benefits Full-Time employees are eligible for mileage reimbursement, professional development support, health insurance, retirement plan options, paid time off (PTO), and paid holidays.
Pay:
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
