Summary of Position :
Are you a results-driven leader who thrives on building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional client experiences? As a District Manager, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, client satisfaction, and financial success across a dynamic multi-unit territory. Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations, you will lead and support multiple locations across a state or multi-state region, ensuring every account consistently delivers outstanding food quality, service, and operational performance. This highly visible leadership position combines strategic planning, financial management, team development, and client partnership to create exceptional outcomes for our customers and communities.
Responsibilities :
Lead multi-site account management across the region, including development and execution of strategic account plans, client engagement, and oversight of contract deliverables. Manage financial performance by overseeing budgets, labor costs, food costs, procurement processes, and adherence to contract terms, including RFP execution and financial reporting. Direct and monitor regional operations through General Managers, including assignment of responsibilities, performance oversight, compliance tracking, and implementation of standardized processes. Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify gaps, implement corrective action plans, and ensure consistent service delivery across all locations. Oversee staffing structure and workforce planning, including recruiting, training coordination, and alignment of labor resources with operational and financial requirements. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety programs, and regulatory standards through audits, site inspections, and accountability measures. Coordinate issue resolution for operational, financial, and contractual risks, including escalation of high-impact matters to senior leadership as required. Partner with internal departments (Sales, Culinary Operations, HR, Accounting, Payroll) to execute company initiatives and support regional performance objectives. Drive execution of action plans to maintain service quality, operational consistency, and timely resolution of client and site-level issues.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced education or certifications preferred. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in food service or restaurant operations, including multi-unit or regional oversight responsibilities. Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including budget oversight, cost controls, contract compliance, and operational reporting across multiple locations. Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis, POS systems, and enterprise platforms; ability to implement and manage proprietary systems (e.g., MEALS, Bullseye). Experience with regulatory and contractual environments, including union agreements where applicable; valid driver's license with ability to travel regularly and meet MVR requirements.
