Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Property Manager (Licensed Community Association Manager - LCAM) to join our dynamic Condo. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee residential properties, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional tenant relations, and compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, a proactive approach to property management, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. This position plays a vital role in maintaining property value, tenant satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Duties Assist in managing daily property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance coordination. Support lease administration processes such as tenant screening, lease signing, and renewal procedures. Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 housing programs. Maintain accurate records using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; perform data entry and filing of important documents. Handle tenant inquiries professionally via phone and email, providing excellent customer service and conflict resolution. Assist in preparing legal documents, notices, and contracts in accordance with landlord-tenant law. Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management activities to ensure properties are well-maintained. Support the administration of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) compliance requirements. Conduct regular site visits to monitor property conditions and assist with property leasing efforts through upselling available units. Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate timely repairs and improvements. Assist in financial tasks such as rent collection tracking, invoice processing, and supporting budget preparation. Skills Proven experience with LIHTC programs, Section 8 housing, and Fair Housing regulations. Proficiency in property management software including Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of landlord-tenant law, contracts, and legal administrative procedures. Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities. Knowledge of property maintenance procedures and facilities management practices. Experience in real estate administrative functions such as data entry, filing, and office organization. Effective negotiation skills for lease agreements and vendor contracts. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organizational skills complemented by experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Demonstrated ability to upsell units or services to enhance revenue opportunities. Familiarity with office administrative experience including filing systems and customer relationship management (CRM). Pay:
