Job Summary Join our vibrant student housing community as a Leasing Agent, where your enthusiasm and customer service skills will create a welcoming environment for students seeking their ideal living space. In this energetic role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents, guiding them through the leasing process with transparency and professionalism. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth operations, compliance with fair housing regulations, and a positive experience for all residents and visitors. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your sales, administrative, and property management skills while contributing to a dynamic community environment. Responsibilities Greet prospective residents warmly and conduct property tours to showcase available units and amenities Manage leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and enthusiasm Prepare and review lease agreements, contracts, and related legal documents ensuring compliance with landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations Utilize property management software such as Yardi accurately, update resident information, and maintain leasing records Assist with marketing efforts by upselling available units and promoting community features to maximize occupancy rates Coordinate move-in procedures, including conducting move-in inspections and preparing lease documentation Handle conflict management with residents or prospects professionally, resolving issues promptly while maintaining positive relationships Maintain organized filing systems for legal documents, contracts, maintenance requests, and resident records Support property maintenance coordination by communicating resident needs to facilities management teams using CMMS or other tools Uphold office procedures including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and customer relationship management to ensure efficient daily operations Experience Prior experience in property management or real estate administrative roles is highly desirable Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is preferred Familiarity with Yardi, or similar property management software is a plus Demonstrated experience in sales or customer service roles with excellent communication skills Understanding of landlord-tenant law and legal administrative processes related to leasing agreements Proven ability to handle conflict management professionally while maintaining positive resident relations Office experience involving data entry, filing, contracts management, and phone etiquette is advantageous Experience in facilities management or property maintenance coordination adds value to the role This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow within the property management field while making a meaningful impact on student residents' lives. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.50 per hour
