The Opportunity You will serve as the operational leader of our Residential Service Department, overseeing daily service operations while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and profitable project execution. This position is ideal for an experienced Residential HVAC Service Manager who can immediately step in and lead without extensive training. You will play a key role in coordinating technicians, managing customer relationships, maintaining departmental profitability, and supporting the continued growth of our residential division. How You Will Make an Impact Manage daily operations of the residential service department to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction. Schedule and coordinate service technicians to maximize productivity and response times. Oversee permitting processes and warranty procedures to maintain compliance and customer confidence. Manage equipment ordering and inventory levels for the residential department. Handle inbound customer calls and resolve escalated customer service issues professionally. Prepare estimates, invoices, and job documentation while ensuring accuracy and profitability. Monitor job costs and departmental performance to ensure strong profit margins. Track outstanding payments and ensure jobs are properly closed out. Maintain organized records and departmental reporting. Support and mentor service staff while promoting accountability and operational excellence. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5-10 years of experience within the residential HVAC industry. Previous experience as a Residential HVAC Service Manager is required. Strong background in customer service, scheduling, invoicing, and service department operations. Experience managing permits, warranties, inventory, and equipment ordering. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with computer systems and office software. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Experience managing service department profitability and operational KPIs. Prior leadership experience overseeing service technicians and office personnel. Knowledge of residential HVAC installation and service processes. Bilingual abilities are a plus. Compensation & Benefits Competitive annual salary of $65,000•$70,000.
