Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Storage Manager to oversee our storage facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a well-organized and secure storage environment. Property Management experience is preferred.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise storage facility operations including processing rentals, taking payments, and managing the front office.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure units are secure and maintaining cleanliness in common areas.
- Monitor and update store inventory, supplies, and equipment as necessary.
- Handle administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records accurately.
- Collaborate with the management team to support and implement policies and procedures.
- Handle auctions and storage liens
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems for transactions
- Perform cash handling duties accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the facility
Requirements:
- Proven experience in store management or similar role
- Proficiency in using POS systems and cash registers
- Ability to handle budgeting and financial responsibilities effectively
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of retail math principles for inventory management
