Property Management Maintenance Liaison 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars 8445 SW 80th Street, Ocala, FL 34481 Full-time Colen Built Development 2 reviews Full-time The Property Management Liaison is responsible for working with the Assistant Property Managers in managing the assigned community and for the coordination of tenant requests and the administration of maintenance services. Additionally, this position will ensure that all units in the program meet the companys quality practices and that all standards are upheld, inspecting residences and performing basic repairs and preventative maintenance as needed. Responsibilities:
Assists in monthly visual inspections of vacant properties and prepares for occupancy Ensures rental properties are in clean and move in ready condition Proactively walks all residential units noting necessary dwelling repairs, including but not limited to paint, roof, landscaping, concrete, plumbing, carpentry, electric etc. Responds to tenant requests for repairs and keeps a journal of completed work Responsible for taking care of minor issues and repairs and fixing simple electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues Conducts routine inspections of property and equipment and performs regular preventive maintenance Coordinates with contractors or repair crews for work that requires outsourcing Inspects all properties prior to authorizing release of security deposits Notifies management when specialized repairs are necessary, ensuring problem is resolved by specialized and approved contractor Demonstrates a courteous and professional attitude at all times Troubleshoots, repairs and/or escalates issues as appropriate Responds to service calls in a timely fashion Maintains an accurate service tracker and develops a service maintenance plan for customers Obtains approval from homeowners as needed for work orders exceeding the set minimum or as otherwise requested Investigates and completes resident work orders as requested by the property management team Maintains a basic knowledge of community rules and regulations Works with the Property Management team to reduce tenant complaints and work orders through proactive initiatives Assists with emergencies as needed Avoids any appearance of favoritism or inappropriate behavior with residents Must provide own reliable transportation
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required Previous maintenance experience required Previous customer service training preferred Experienced with all tools utilized in residential repairs required
Skills and Knowledge:
Must be able to read, write and understand English Basic computer skills Must be familiar with Marion County and Florida Building Code requirements Mechanical aptitude and experience with commercial and residential building repairs Problem solving and decision making skills Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues appropriately Ability to determine when issues need to be escalated Basic knowledge of electricity and mechanical functions Ability to work with minimal supervision, accomplishing tasks and completing work orders efficiently and in a timely manner
