In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of residential properties, ensuring exceptional tenant experiences and efficient property management. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will be vital in managing leasing activities, maintaining compliance with housing regulations, and fostering positive relationships with residents and vendors alike. Responsibilities Assist in managing lease or rental agreement processes, including application screening, lease signing, and renewals using property management software such as Yardi or OneSite. Support property maintenance coordination by communicating with vendors, tracking work orders, and ensuring timely resolution of issues through facilities management systems like CMMS. Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident inquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy. Help enforce Fair Housing regulations and legal administrative procedures to ensure compliance across all leasing and operational activities. Conduct data entry, filing, and recordkeeping for tenant files, contracts, and legal documentation related to landlord-tenant law and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs. Assist in conflict management efforts by mediating resident concerns and escalating issues appropriately while maintaining positive relationships. Support the administration of Section 8 housing programs and other subsidized housing initiatives to ensure adherence to program requirements. Participate in property leasing activities including upselling available units, conducting tours, and negotiating lease terms to maximize occupancy rates. Experience Prior experience working in property management or real estate administrative roles is highly preferred. Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi or OneSite is a strong advantage. Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, and Section 8 housing policies is essential for success in this role. Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict effectively and maintain professional phone etiquette. Experience managing lease agreements, contracts, and legal documentation related to property leasing or rental agreements. Office experience involving data entry, filing systems, and administrative support is required to ensure smooth operations. Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to multitask efficiently within a fast-paced environment are key qualities for this position.
