$40,000-$45,000 per year About Aegis Care Services Aegis Care Services provides high-quality residential services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Intensive Behavioral Residential Habilitation (IB) Group Homes . Our mission is to provide compassionate, person-centered care while promoting independence, dignity, safety, and community integration. We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and hands-on Residential Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of our two Intensive Behavioral group homes. Position Summary This is a working management position . The Residential Program Manager will supervise staff while also providing direct support to residents as needed. The manager will be assigned to one home each day , rotating between both homes throughout the week. This position requires a leader who can effectively manage employees, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain high-quality care, and confidently work with residents who may exhibit challenging behaviors. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of two Intensive Behavioral Residential Group Homes. Supervise, coach, mentor, and support direct care professionals. Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new employees. Ensure compliance with APD regulations, Medicaid Waiver requirements, behavior support plans, and company policies. Review and audit documentation, including MARs, daily narratives, ABC data, incident reports, and required compliance records. Monitor medication administration and documentation accuracy. Ensure residents receive quality, person-centered services in accordance with their support plans. Coordinate communication with support coordinators, behavior analysts, guardians, healthcare providers, and other professionals. Conduct routine home inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, safety, and regulatory compliance. Assist with staffing schedules and provide direct support coverage when needed. Respond professionally to behavioral crises and support staff in implementing approved behavior support strategies. Promote professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and excellent customer service. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Services, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Social Work, or a related field preferred. Supervisory or leadership experience in a group home, residential care, behavioral health, assisted living, healthcare, or related setting is preferred. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors is strongly preferred. Knowledge of APD regulations, Medicaid Waiver services, behavior support plans, and residential documentation is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Technology Requirements Applicants must be proficient with: Google Sheets Google Forms Google Docs Google Sites Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word Microsoft Outlook Email management and cloud-based file systems Experience using electronic documentation systems, scheduling software, and online compliance platforms is highly preferred. Additional Requirements Valid Florida driver's license with reliable transportation. Ability to pass a Level II Background Screening. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Ability to remain calm and professional during behavioral incidents. Ability to assist residents with activities of daily living and perform the essential functions of the position.
