Job Description

Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Site Manager with proven experience in apartment leasing office operations to join our dynamic property management team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth leasing processes, exceptional customer service, and effective property administration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in property leasing, legal administrative procedures, and property management systems, with a passion for creating positive resident experiences and maintaining compliance with housing regulations. Duties Assist the Site Manager in overseeing daily leasing office operations, including lease or rental agreement management and resident relations Manage lease applications, conduct tenant screenings, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and Section 8 programs Utilize property management software such as Yardi and OneSite for data entry, rent collection, and record keeping Handle customer inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism, courtesy, and effective communication skills Support conflict management efforts by addressing tenant concerns promptly and diplomatically while adhering to legal guidelines such as landlord-tenant law Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilitate communication between residents and maintenance teams using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools Assist with legal administrative tasks including filing contracts, managing lease renewals, and maintaining accurate tenant records Upsell available units or amenities to prospective residents to maximize occupancy rates Contribute to facilities management by supporting lease negotiations, contract review, and ensuring compliance with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations Maintain organized filing systems for legal documents, tenant files, and property records Qualifications Proven experience working in an apartment leasing office or property management environment with a focus on leasing operations and customer service Strong knowledge of Yardi, OneSite, LIHTC, Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, and Section 8 programs Demonstrated ability in legal administrative tasks such as contracts, lease management, filing, and data entry Excellent conflict management skills combined with professional phone etiquette and negotiation abilities Experience with property maintenance coordination using CMMS or similar facilities management tools Background in real estate administrative processes including lease agreements, rental applications, and tenant screening procedures Office experience emphasizing customer relationship management and upselling techniques Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to creating welcoming communities through exceptional service delivery.
