Job Location We are hiring for an Assistant Manager position at 2728 W 25th Street, Sanford, FL 32771 Training This position begins with a one-week training program with our Training Coordinators, followed by hands-on experience in the office. During this time, new hires will complete a 90-day onboarding checklist that includes training in Standard Operating Procedures, company policies, and software systems. Employee Schedule Our hours of operation are Mondays through Fridays from 9 AM to 6 PM, Saturdays from 9 AM to 5 PM, and closed Sundays and major holidays. Storage Property Managers and Storage Property Assistant Managers alternate working every other Saturday. They also organize their preferred•(1) schedule among themselves every month, abiding by four ten hour shifts with three days off. •(1) While the Scheduling team actively attempts to meet each and every preference, an occasion may arise in which the schedule preferences cannot be met in their entirety. Job Description As a Storage Property Assistant Manager, you will assist the Storage Property Manager in guaranteeing customer satisfaction, ensuring impeccable property appearance, and exceeding financial goals in order to promote company growth. As you will be working alongside the Storage Property Manager, this role requires the ability to work both individually and collaboratively. Primary Responsibilities There are three main aspects of the Storage Property Assistant Manager position: salesmanship, property management, and customer service. 1.
Salesmanship:
Selling Space and Merchandise to Our Customers ✓ Physically taking customers to the unit and showing it to them ✓ Informing customers on the features and benefits of storing with us as opposed to storing with a competitor ✓ Returning to the office with the customer to gather and save their information as well as prompt the rental ✓ Following up with the potential tenant over the phone and/or email if the lease was not completed ✓ Renting storage units/parking spaces daily and completing the lease agreements with the tenants ✓ Performing sales calls when a property is in lease-up status or under 90% occupancy 2.
Property Management:
Maintaining an Impeccable Property Appearance ✓ Sweeping the hallways ✓ Cleaning the vacant units ✓ Cleaning the office and the bathrooms ✓ Pulling/spraying any weeds and spraying for pests ✓ Picking up any trash that may have been left on the property ✓ Identifying and properly alerting maintenance of any safety hazards on property ✓ Identifying any maintenance issues and reporting them to our maintenance technicians ✓ Performing daily property inspections ✓ Performing a Walk Thru report once a week with the Storage Property Manager ✓ Uploading and filing any necessary documents/paperwork to tenant accounts ✓ Completing the weekly 5-15 report ✓ Completing training on the lien procedure should the Property Manager be absent on lien procedure days 3.
Customer Service:

Pay:
$17.00 per hour
