  • Full-time An elite Florida multifamily organization seeks an accomplished Property Manager to lead a high-performing, Class A apartment community in Sarasota, FL.
Reporting directly to the COO and Principal, this high-visibility role requires a system-driven property management professional who thrives in a high-accountability environment to drive operational excellence and resident service. This General Manager should be poised to drive culture, optimize asset performance, and directly partner with ownership on long-term capital and strategic planning.
Compensation & Benefits:
$120,000
  • 170,000 + performance-based bonus; comprehensive health and benefits package, and direct access to executive ownership.
Position Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Culture:
Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing on-site team (leasing, maintenance, administrative); set clear expectations, conduct performance reviews, and run disciplined EOS/Traction Level 10 meetings.
Financial & NOI Performance:
Own the community P&L, including budget adherence, delinquency, collections, and expense management; prepare monthly owner reports, variance analysis, and forward-looking financial projections.
Operations & Asset Management:
Oversee all day-to-day property operations, manage preventive maintenance programs, execute capital improvement planning, and lead hurricane preparedness and emergency protocols.
Leasing & Revenue Strategy:
Drive occupancy and revenue performance through strategic pricing, lead conversion oversight, renewal management, market comp analysis, and concessions optimization.
Resident Experience & Reputation:
Champion a best-in-class resident experience from move-in to move-out, resolve escalated concerns with urgency, and proactively manage community reputation and online reviews.
Position Requirements:
Experience:
3-5+ years of property management experience, including at least 2 years in a General Manager or senior asset leadership role.
Asset Track Record:
Proven success managing Class A or B+ multifamily communities, with a strong preference for portfolios of 200+ units.
Financial Fluency:
Sharp financial acumen with deep experience in P&L ownership, budget management, NOI reporting, and connecting daily operational decisions to asset value.
Leadership Skills:
Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams of 4+ employees while holding staff accountable with clarity and care.
Technical & Licensing:
Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, AppFolio, or equivalent); Florida CAM license required (or obtained within 90 days of hire).
