Job Description
The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of property operations, including marketing and leasing vacant units, managing staff, ensuring resident satisfaction, and maintaining financial and operational records. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Market the property effectively to attract new residents through advertising, outreach, showings, etc. Achieve target occupancy levels. Conduct showings of available units and handle the leasing process from initial inquiry to move-in. Manage and supervise on-site staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluations, etc. Address resident requests, concerns, and issues in a timely and professional manner. Plan and execute community events. Enforce rent collection policies and procedures. Pursue legal action for delinquencies as needed. Oversee maintenance and upkeep of the property, buildings, and grounds to ensure quality standards. Prepare operational and financial reports as required. Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable laws and regulations.Qualifications:
Previous experience in property management, preferably with affordable housing Proven track record of successfully operating and marketing multi-family residential properties Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to lead a team and manage multiple concurrent tasks Proficient with MS Office applications and property management software College degree preferred This job description is not all-inclusive and duties may vary depending on company needs.Job Type:
