Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a driven and organized Property Manager / Operations Coordinator to join ElkPenn Inc as our first in-house hire. This role is the operational backbone of the company — you will own the day-to-day management of our property management portfolio, freeing the principal broker to focus on brokerage transactions, client development, and portfolio growth. Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all tenants across the PM portfolio
  • Coordinate and oversee all maintenance requests, vendor scheduling, and repairs
  • Track and follow up on rent collection; escalate delinquencies per policy
  • Prepare monthly owner reports and property performance summaries
  • Manage lease renewals, expirations, and compliance documentation
  • Build and maintain vendor/contractor relationships
  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks: invoicing, expense tracking, correspondence
  • Assist with onboarding new PM clients and properties into the portfolio
  • Maintain property management software (Doorloop similar to Appfolio) with current data
  • Support brokerage operations as needed (scheduling tours, coordinating due diligence) What you ll bring Florida Real Estate Sales Associate License (required — active and in good standing) 2+ years of commercial or multi-tenant property management experience Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple properties simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills for tenant and owner interactions Proficiency with property management software (AppFolio, Buildium, or similar) Self-starter who can operate independently with minimal supervision Detail-oriented with strong follow-through on open items and action items Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment Familiarity with Florida landlord-tenant law and commercial lease structures (preferred)Experience with QuickBooks or basic bookkeeping a plus Compensation & Benefits Base Salary ~$30,000/yr Based on experience New Lease/Lease Renewal $100•50 per occurrence New Pm Contract $100•50 per occurrence End of Year Bonus ~1% of gross revenue from property management.
License renewal & CE courses covered reimbursement Compensation is negotiable based on experience and license status.
