vaccinated workforce. New Associates must provide proof of vaccination prior to hire date. Responsible for developing and managing relationships with technical schools, colleges, and community organizations to support clinical hiring across the post-acute health care system. This role oversees all aspects of academic partnerships, including clinical placement agreements, Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), and school engagement initiatives. The Academic Relations Manager will represent the organization at school and community events to promote career opportunities and enhance the organization's visibility as an employer of choice in healthcare.::
Job Duties Include:
Develops, implements, and coordinates strategic system outreach designed to explain and promote hospice, home health, and other service lines of CHSGa as appropriate to the community. Collaborates with member organization leadership in the establishment, maintenance, and continued development of community outreach programs. Collaborates with other Area Directors of Outreach to support transitions of care across CHSGa service lines and ensures optimal communication among all levels. Develops and implements training programs and professional development plans to educate Patient Transition Directors and other team members across all service lines. Conducts high level presentations and facilitates meetings with key referral sources. Reviews monthly analytic data to determine market trends, and develops action plans based on data relative to key performance indicators. Maintains awareness of competitors through development of competitor profiles. Develops and recommends strategies to gain market share. Portrays a positive image of the organization and communicates guiding principles, mission, vision and values. Speaks with community groups to explain the various services and activities available through the community outreach program. Participates in the development of program budgets and the identification of funding sources.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Social Work, Marketing, or a related field and one year of related experience; or an Associate's degree in a related field and three years of related experience Expertise in marketing strategies and techniques and implementation. Expertise in leading teams to achieve goals. Thorough knowledge of home health and hospice operations, regulations, and conditions of participation. Knowledge of licensed nursing home operations, regulations and requirements for admission. Exceptional knowledge of community relations, volunteer, and social service programs. Excellent customer service, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills. Ability to multi-task and function with little direction. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the services businesses leadership team, administrators, associates, residents and families, the general public, and volunteers.
