Job Description

Our client is one of the largest and fastest-growing residential property management companies in the Southeast. Since 2015, they have grown to manage more than 1,600 residential units across single-family, multifamily, and affordable housing communities. Their goal is to create a Triple Win for Owners, Residents, and Team Members through operational excellence, exceptional service, and disciplined execution. Our client is not building a traditional property management company. They are building a scalable operating company capable of serving multiple markets across the Southeast while maintaining a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement. As their growth continues, the owners are seeking a Market Director to lead the Augusta market and serve as the senior operating leader, responsible for overall market performance. Position Summary The Market Director serves as the senior leader responsible for the performance, growth, and operational execution of the Augusta market. This individual will lead a team of department leaders responsible for property management, maintenance, leasing, resident services, and project operations. The Market Director is accountable for financial performance, operational excellence, team development, customer satisfaction, and market growth. This role is best suited for a leader who thinks like an owner , enjoys building high-performing teams, and is passionate about creating systems that scale. Success in this role is measured by the ability to achieve market objectives through people, systems, and leadership—not by personally managing day-to-day property issues. Key Responsibilities Market leadership Financial performance (P&L owner) Operational excellence Owner & resident experience Growth & business development Compliance & risk management Required Qualifications 7+ years of leadership experience Experience leading multiple departments or business functions Demonstrated responsibility for financial performance and budget management Proven ability to build, develop, and retain high-performing teams Strong operational and organizational leadership skills Excellent communication and decision-making abilities Track record of improving systems, processes, and business performance Preferred Qualifications Property management experience Multi-family or single-family rental experience Home services or maintenance operations experience Hospitality or multi-unit operations leadership experience Experience managing P&L responsibility exceeding $5 million annually Experience leading organizations with 30+ employees
Compensation Base Salary:
$150,000•$180,000 +
Performance Bonus:
Up to 30% of Base Salary = Total Compensation Opportunity of $200,000•$275,000
