The Assistant Property Manager are key team members with a primary objective to maximizing occupancy and providing exceptional services to residents and potential residents. This is achieved by utilizing professional sales and marketing techniques to generate traffic, networking, promoting resident retention, and providing exceptional customer service.Responsibilities and Duties:
Greeting prospective residents and providing them with property tours Perform proper outreach marketing Help create engaging social media initiatives to connect residents Follow up on all prospects to ensure all questions are answered Assist with resident retention Process lease applications and qualifying residents in a thorough and timely manner while adhering to all fair housing laws Prepare and compile lease agreement and collect rental deposit Inspect vacancies to ensure market ready status Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure smooth move-ins for new residents Maintain thorough and up-to-date rental files Provide prompt and courteous response to resolve resident's request Support the Property Manager with general office maintenance by answering phones and performing other administrative tasks. Additional Responsibilities forAssistant Property Managers:
Assist the Manager in preparing monthly reports Monitor and coordinate work orders and assignments with team members as directed by the Manager Assist the Manager to maintain smooth office and property operations Be the main point of contact in the absence of theManager Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to professionally communicate with residents, co-workers, and management Ability to professionally maintain confidential information Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage Must have knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations Must be detail oriented and have good time management skills Must be a Team Player with a positive attitude Must have basic computer literacy skills Must be able to work a flexible rotating work schedule to include weekends Professional etiquette essential!! Hotel experience welcomed. Able to understand financial reports and have basic business acumensExperience & Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred 2 years of recent experience as residential assistant property management required for consideration to the Assistant Property Manager position Experience in using Yardi and Entrata Customer service, sales and goal-oriented mindset Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to respond to on-call emergencies when needed Must be able to pass credit/background check, and drug screeningBenefits:
