Must be able to work scheduled hours and have flexibility for periodic additional hours, including weekends, depending on workflow, emergencies, and owner requirements. Must have access to reliable transportation for each workday. Must have a current, valid driver's license at all times while employed. Must have an effective communication system available in order to contact the community or staff after hours. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check. This is a supervisory position with authority, responsibility, and accountability to plan, implement, and monitor operations, profitability, quality service, and resident relations. Oversee all aspects of running a multi-unit residential community, including budget, physical service, advertising, leasing, pricing, and expense control. Effectively create a marketing and management program to maintain optimum occupancy levels, income, and value of the community. Effectively select, hire, train, motivate, counsel, and reward employees.
Requirements:
1. Four to six years' experience in property management required 2. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and other suppliers or vendors. 3. Must have experience with computers and be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Prior experience working with community management software and web-based programs is required. Yardi is a plus. 4. Have a basic knowledge of bookkeeping or accounting theory and procedures. 5. Must be able to work scheduled hours and have flexibility for periodic additional hours, including weekends, depending on workflow and emergencies. 6. Real estate license is a plus!
