Job Description

Do you have a passion for leading and empowering individuals with developmental disabilities? Exceptional Community Services is currently hiring a Community Access Supervisor to join its team in Monroe , GA . A Community Access Supervisor oversees multiple day program facilities and provides leadership to front-line supervisors who supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). This Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. role includes coordinating activities, supporting staff, stepping in for direct care when needed, managing crises, and assisting with basic HR functions, all while promoting independence, inclusion, and quality outcomes. Exceptional Community Services is a nonprofit dedicated to helping individuals live fulfilling lives through advocacy, resources, and community involvement. The organization promotes inclusion, meaningful participation, and valued social roles while delivering personalized, person-centered services rooted in respect and dignity. Job Duties :
Supervise and lead coordinators, managers and direct support staff Assign tasks and communicate plans based on client needs Coach staff through challenging situations and participant management Conduct regular supervision to support staff performance and development Participate in meetings and contribute to treatment strategies Assist with developing and maintaining individual service plans Monitor service plan implementation and ensure goals are met
Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, social science or human services is required 2+ years of experience with mental/behavioral health and/or developmentally disabled clients 1+ years of supervisory experience Current Georgia driver's license required If you're an organized leader looking to make a direct impact through person-centered support and inclusion, apply today !
