Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Turn Technician to prepare apartment units for new residents at a community in Stone Mountain, GA. This role is responsible for completing unit turns (make-readies) efficiently, including painting, repairs, and cleaning coordination to ensure apartments are move-in ready on schedule. The ideal candidate works quickly without cutting corners and takes pride in delivering a clean, finished product. Responsibilities Complete unit turns (make-readies) within required timelines to minimize vacancy loss Perform interior painting of apartments, including walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and touch-ups Prepare units for painting (patching holes, sanding, caulking, and surface prep) Conduct basic repairs including drywall, minor plumbing, fixtures, and hardware replacements Ensure all units meet company standards for move-in readiness and quality control Inspect vacant units and identify items needing repair or replacement Coordinate with maintenance and cleaning teams to ensure units are fully ready for occupancy Replace or repair items such as blinds, light fixtures, outlets, locks, and appliances as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area in each unit and on property grounds Follow safety procedures and properly use all tools and equipment Track and report progress on unit turns to management Requirements Previous experience in apartment turns, painting, or maintenance preferred Strong painting skills (cutting, rolling, prep work, and finishing) Experience using paint sprayer and prep work Basic knowledge of maintenance trades (drywall, light plumbing, minor electrical) Ability to complete multiple units within tight deadlines Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to work independently and stay on task Dependable and consistent attendance Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the day Proficient in the use of hand and basic power tools Knowledge of fair housing guidelines Benefits Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance Short/Long Term Disability 401K Paid Time Off Holidays If you are ready for a company to invest in you, please apply today.
