Job Description
Overview We are seeking a proactive and organized Property Management Runner to support our property management team. This role involves facilitating daily operations, coordinating maintenance, and assisting with administrative tasks to ensure smooth property functions. The ideal candidate will possess stroOur company is seeking hard-working, energetic employees to help us maintain a growing portfolio of vacation rentals in Maui. We are hiring someone who is seeking a part-time position and is flexible with their availability. Responsibilities include a variety of tasks to help manage and maintain rentals. This may entail troubleshooting issues with guests such as internet/TV issues, replacing amenities etc. The candidate should be good with general customer service skills when communicating with guesats. Occasionally we may need an urgent response to issues that arise. The applicant must be familiar and comfortable with technology. We require candidates to access a variety of applications, upload walkthrough videos, and log details. The job requires general customer service skills when interacting with guests. Another big component is quality control of our properties, ensuring they are consistently clean, operating smoothly, and guest ready. Important abilities are attention to detail and reliability to follow through with a schedule. This role will require basic property maintenance skills such as installing smoke detectors, light cleaning etc. There may occasionally be a need for weekend availability but we are generally flexible with advance notice. The applicant must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. The applicant must live in Lahaina, many tasks are not time intensive and not conducive for long commutes.ng customer service skills, familiarity with property management systems, and knowledge of relevant regulations such as LIHTC, Section 8, and Fair Housing laws. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in real estate, property leasing, and facilities management to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Act as a liaison between property management staff, maintenance teams, tenants, and vendors to coordinate repairs and services efficiently. Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records related to property operations using systems like Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS. Support lease administration tasks including document filing, contract management, and tenant correspondence. Facilitate property inspections and oversee minor maintenance or repair requests to ensure properties meet safety and quality standards. Manage customer relationships by addressing tenant inquiries promptly via phone or in person with professional etiquette. Assist with lease renewals, upselling amenities or services to tenants when appropriate, and ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations. Support the preparation of reports related to property occupancy, maintenance issues, and regulatory compliance. Coordinate with legal administrative teams on lease agreements, contracts, and legal notices related to landlord-tenant law. Help organize property files and maintain compliance with Section 8 and LIHTC program requirements. Perform other administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and supporting facilities management activities. Skills Strong knowledge of LIHTC, Section 8 housing programs, Fair Housing regulations, landlord-tenant law, and contracts. Experience with property management software including Yardi, OneSite, and CMMS systems. Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities. Proven administrative experience in real estate or property management environments; familiarity with legal administrative processes is a plus. Ability to handle data entry accurately and efficiently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. Strong organizational skills for filing, record keeping, and maintaining compliance documentation. Negotiation skills for upselling services or resolving tenant concerns effectively. Knowledge of facilities management practices related to property maintenance and repairs. Effective communication skills for working with tenants, vendors, legal teams, and internal staff. This role is integral to maintaining high standards of property operations while providing excellent service to tenants and stakeholders alike.
