Job Description
Resident Manager We are seeking an experienced Resident Manager for a 120-unit property in Central Oahu. This is a full-time position reporting to the Property Manager. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player who takes initiative to proactively find solutions to issues facing the property and its residents. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in condominium maintenance and management. The role requires strong administrative and supervisory skills along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and will be able to work collaboratively with residents, vendors, the Property Manager and the Association Board with a high degree of professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property.
- Manage property maintenance and repair work.
- Manage and work collaboratively with maintenance staff.
- Oversee service vendors to ensure work is completed timely and as contracted. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Enforce community rules including the House Rules, By Laws, and applicable laws where required. Address tenant requests and concerns with professionalism.
- Be available on-call 24/7 to handle emergency situations.
- Proactively identifying opportunities and providing recommendations to reduce operating expenses while maintaining the value of the property.
- Identifying opportunities and recommending policies/procedures to ensure smooth operation of the community.
Qualifications:
- College Bachelor's degree.
- Accredited Resident Manager or comparable designations a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of prior customer service experience (Required).
- Minimum of 3 years of prior Resident Manager experience (Required).
- Possess general knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, fire control and mechanical systems.
- Job requires strong managerial/organizational skills including administrative skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills to include Microsoft Windows and Excel.
- Ability to write reports and keep accurate records.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse range of individuals.
