Job Description
About the Role As a Group Home Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of a ChildServe Home, ensuring high‑quality care, staff leadership, and compliance with state and federal regulations. This role supports 24-hour operations and helps create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children and young adults with special health care needs.
Schedule :
M-F Business hours with rotating on call weekends and evenings How You'll Make an Impact Oversee daily home operations, including on‑call duties, safety, supplies, budgeting, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Maintain accurate service documentation, billing requirements, and implement improvements based on audits. Build positive , age‑appropriate interactions with children/young adults and lead care planning with families and interdisciplinary teams. Coordinate with therapists and other professionals to ensure care needs, equipment, and services are provided. Hire, train, coach , and support staff; oversee scheduling, manage overtime, and ensure high‑quality care through observations and retraining.What You'll Need :
Bachelor's degree in human services or related field; meets QIDP qualifications. At least 1 year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and 1 year of supervisory experience. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship‑building abilities. Skilled in decision‑making, prioritization, and maintaining professionalism in changing environments. Ability to follow policies and regulatory guidelines; proficient with Microsoft Office and able to learn new software; maintains confidentiality and works effectively with diverse populations.
