Community Manager - Multi-Site Small Business

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
• Conduct property tours and effectively communicate the features and benefits of the community to prospective residents.
• Process applications, conduct background checks, and prepare lease agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Section 8 housing requirements.
• Handle resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs.
• Implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and retain existing ones.
• Utilize property management software such as ResMan or Yardi to track leasing activities, resident information, and maintenance requests.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including rent collection and expense tracking.
• Foster positive relationships with residents through effective communication and customer relationship management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in property management or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of property leasing procedures and best practices.
• Familiarity with Section 8 housing requirements is a plus.
• Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle resident disputes or difficult situations.
• Basic understanding of property maintenance principles and practices.
• Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations governing rental properties.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with residents, prospects, and vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) for record keeping and reporting purposes.
• Experience using property management software such as ResMan or Yardi is highly desirable.
