Assistant Property Manager - Multifamily

Property Management company is actively seeking an Assistant Property Manager at our 250-unit luxury apartment complex in the Buffalo Grove/Wheeling area. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with at least one year of related experience in multi-family property management or multi-family property leasing. Our Assistant Property Managers are expected to be professional, proactive, organized, and customer focused.

OCCASIONAL WEEKEND WORK REQUIRED

Base pay for this position will range from $24 to $28 per hour depending on experience, with the ability to earn monthly bonuses and commissions in addition to the base salary.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing administrative support to the Property Manager. Taking a lead role in resident communication, satisfaction, and issue resolution. Assisting in both leasing and marketing of the property. Overseeing resident relations including the planning of community events. Helping foster strong relationships within their team.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 1 year of multi-family property management experience or leasing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Understanding of Fair Housing laws, regulations, and best practices of property management. Knowledge of property management software.
