Horizon Realty Group is a family-owned and operated property management company established in 1980. Horizon Realty Group is a family-owned and operated property management company that buys, remodels, and rents updated, high-value apartments in a variety of iconic buildings. Currently, with 27 buildings in Chicago, Horizon also owns one building in Evanston, IL as an independent Senior Living Community. Horizon Realty Group is seeking an experienced, sales-oriented, driven Assistant Property Manager with superior sales skills. This self-motivated individual must think outside the box to create and optimize traffic, close deals, and provide first-class customer service to all current and future residents. This position would also require your position to be additional backup to some of the Property Manager responsibilities.Responsibilities:
Meet the goals and directives of the Owner. Show available/model units to prospective residents. Assist in all levels of the Portfolio's overall financial success Assist in all levels for the Portfolio's overall performance (i.e. appearance, operation, relations, maintenance, and overall integrity of the building). Assist Property Manager in the management of the maintenance crew, when needed. Negotiation of leases with current residents and prospective residents. Handle resident complaints and relations. Other duties as assigned by the owner and/or Direct Supervisor.Requirements:

Typing Speed 30 wpm minimum Excellent written and verbal skills Must have vehicle & smart phone Must be able to work weekends Computer/internet skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Suites, Yardi Voyager/CRM, preferred A "Can-Do" attitude is a mustSimilar remote jobs
