Driving Full Job Description Description:
Responsible for providing rehabilitative residential and community support services for adults with severe mental illness or dually diagnosed.

Teaches in-vivo independent, social, and daily living skills taking into consideration the participant's learning style, strengths and needs. Monitors participants' symptoms and medication utilization regularly. Provides therapeutic interventions that facilitate illness self-management, skill building, identification of natural supports, and use of community resources. Provides crisis management services in consultation with program supervisor. Documents all services using program protocols.
Requirements:
Minimum of high school diploma or GED (Preferred) Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, social work, or a related field. Must be at least 21 years of age, have demonstrated skills in the field of services to adults or children, have demonstrated the ability to work within the provider's structure and accept supervision, and have demonstrated the ability to work constructively with clients, treatment resources and the community. Personal vehicle, Illinois current driver license and insurance, good driving record acceptable to agency insurance carrier. Carries cellular phone at all times to respond to participant/program needs. Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings, holidays during emergencies.
