Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our low-income property in LaSalle, IL. This role involves tenant relations, HUD compliance, property maintenance coordination, and ensuring a safe and welcoming community for our senior residents. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing, tenant screening, and lease negotiations. Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance requirements. Oversee facilities management, coordinating repairs and maintenance with vendors as needed. Utilize Appfolio property management software for tracking leases, payments, and maintenance requests. Maintain accurate records of property operations, tenant interactions, and financial transactions. Ensure compliance with HUD regulations. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with tenants and vendors. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Familiarity with Appfolio or similar property management software is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate tenant needs. Certifications and experience in low-income housing will be a plus.
