McCarthy Property Management About Us McCarthy Property Management is a growing property management company dedicated to providing exceptional service to property owners and residents. We manage a diverse portfolio of residential properties and are seeking a motivated, customer-focused professional to join our team in a hybrid Leasing Agent and Property Management role. Position Summary The Leasing & Property Management Coordinator plays a key role in both resident acquisition and day-to-day property operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable balancing leasing responsibilities with administrative and field-based property management duties. The successful candidate must be willing to conduct property inspections, deliver notices, assist with resident relations, and support the overall management of assigned properties. Key ResponsibilitiesLeasing Responsibilities Respond promptly to rental inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms. Schedule and conduct property tours for prospective residents. Process rental applications and assist with applicant screening. Prepare lease agreements and leasing documentation. Follow up with prospects and maintain strong occupancy levels. Maintain accurate leasing records and CRM data. Market available units through online listings and other advertising channels. Property Management Responsibilities Conduct move-in, move-out, and routine property inspections. Deliver notices to residents as required. Assist with lease enforcement and policy compliance. Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with vendors and residents. Maintain resident files and property records. Assist with rent collection and delinquency follow-up. Address resident concerns and provide exceptional customer service. Support property managers with administrative tasks and special projects. Monitor property conditions and report issues requiring attention. Administrative Duties Answer phones and respond to emails professionally. Prepare reports, correspondence, and resident communications. Maintain organized electronic and physical files. Assist with scheduling inspections, maintenance, and vendor services. Ensure compliance with company policies and fair housing regulations. Qualifications Must be willing to obtain either a leasing agent license, or real estate broker license Previous experience in leasing, property management, real estate, or customer service preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software. Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Ability to walk properties, climb stairs, and conduct inspections as needed. Preferred Skills Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing best practices. Experience with property management software such as AppFolio, Buildium, Rent Manager, or similar platforms. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
