Job Description

Property Manager We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC community.) This role is responsible for maintaining the property's physical condition, financial performance, and full regulatory compliance, while delivering an exceptional resident experience. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day property operations and supervise on-site team members Ensure full compliance with LIHTC program requirements , including income certifications, recertifications (if applicable), rent limits, and file audits Administer occupancy processes in accordance with LIHTC, HUD, and Fair Housing regulations Deliver excellent customer service and drive resident satisfaction and retention Manage leasing activity, including marketing, prospecting, renewals, and move-ins/move-outs Maintain budget performance, monitor expenses, and identify financial risks Oversee rent collections, delinquency management, and eviction processes in compliance with applicable laws Prepare for and participate in Management and Occupancy Reviews (MORs), LIHTC audits, and inspections Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required reports and documentation Conduct regular unit and property inspections to maintain safety and curb appeal Coordinate with maintenance to ensure timely completion of service requests and unit turns Hire, train, and develop team members while fostering a positive work environment Build and maintain relationships with residents, vendors, and regulatory agencies Act as the primary liaison between the property and regional leadership Qualifications Experience managing a LIHTC community required Strong knowledge of LIHTC compliance, HUD, and Fair Housing regulations Proven leadership and team management skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, OneSite, or similar) preferred
Pay:
$19.00 - $23.00 per hour
