Job Description

Company Overview Spero Family Services is dedicated to providing Christ-centered human services that support vulnerable children and families in our community. With a wide range of social service programs, we are committed to fostering hope, healing, and help for those we serve through compassionate, faith-based care. Overview We are expanding our services and looking for a passionate and energetic Program Manager to join our Safe at Home team. Safe at Home is an innovative initiative focused on helping children remain safely with their families whenever possible. Through intensive, community-based services, safety planning, and ongoing family support, the program works to prevent unnecessary foster care placements while promoting child safety and family stability.
Primary Duties Program Management:
Provide oversight to program(s) as assigned. Duties may include program implementation, budgeting, documentation, file reviews, quality/risk management, and client outcomes.
Personnel Management:
Oversee the staffing and supervision of employees as assigned. Duties may include overseeing the recruitment and retention of staff, interviewing and hiring, providing oversight and support, and providing appropriate corrective action plans for staff when necessary.
Documentation:
Ensure all documentation and reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
Community Relations:
Assist in representing the agency and advocating for needed services. Ensure collaboration and strong communication with community partners.
Other:
Participation in on-call rotations is required. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in an approved field with 3 years previous experience OR Master's Degree in an approved field with 2 years previous experience OR Master's Degree in Social Work with 1 year previous experience. Must have a valid driver's license and complete required trainings. Master's Degree and previous experience preferred.
Miscellaneous:
Must pass all pre-employment drug screens and background clearances. Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours to meet the needs of the program. Required to work in clients' homes and community settings.
Skills:
Must be organized, able to multi-task, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, and detail oriented. Must be able to interact with, and relate to, diverse groups of people. Must be able to demonstrate leadership skills and have the ability to recognize and report issues or concerns pertaining to program operations. • Exact pay commensurate with education and experience
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
